Palmer Monster figurines
The Palmer monster figurines were produced starting in 1964. They were basically 3"-tall plastic figurines of monsters, molded in a solid color. The official title of the set (as shown on its header card) was 'Palmer Plastics Unbreakable MOVIE MONSTERS set'.
The set consisted of eight movie monsters: Frankenstein, Dracula, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, a Wolfman, King Kong (which came with a tiny version of Fay Wray to place in his hand, almost always missing from opened examples), Gorgo, the Cyclops from The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and the titular monster from It, The Terror From Beyond Space (mistitled on the card as It Came From Outer Space).
The set apparently came both in a plastic bag with header card, and on a bubble-card. The figurines were released in a variety of bright colors; reproductions are usually all solid white.
Not quite as well-made as the Marx monster figurines, the Palmer monsters still hold a certain amount of charm for collectors of this sort of thing.
