Canadian Mountie Set
The GI Joe Canadian Mountie Set was introduced in 1967. It featured Joe in the guise of the famous crime fighters from Canada. This accessory set was available exclusively through Sears Roebuck & Co.
This accessory pack has Joe outfitted with everything a self-respecting, full-armed Canadian Mountie might need in the performance of his duty, including cold-weather and outdoor gear.
This accessory set came in two basic configurations: the regular window box set, and the gift box set (shown at right). The gift box set contained more equipment than the window box.
Both set versions included:
GI Joe figure in full regiment jacket, riding pants, campaign hat, and riding boots
Battle ribbons for jacket
Revolver
Holster and pistol belt with shoulder strap
M1-rifle
Billy club
Binoculars
Climbing rope
Snowshoes
Ice pick
