Capture Copter Adventure
The Capture Copter Adventure was one of the vehicle/accessory sets built near the end of the 11-1/2" GI Joe Adventure Team figure run, in 1976. Specifically, this set was suggested for use with the Eagle Eye figures, but could of course be used with any Joe figures of the same size.
The bulk of this accessory pack was comprised of the black helicopter (not quite the same design as the previous yellow Adventure Team helicopters). This copter, for example, was more of an amphibious craft, since its landing struts were actually flotation pontoons, meaning the craft could be landed on the water as well as land. (The pontoons were detachable.) The best feature of this vehicle, however, was the real winch that worked, if hand-cranked by the owner. The set also came with a net to be thrown over Joe's prey.
Two basic versions of this set exist: one comes with an Intruder Warrior figure, and one doesn't. Both sets however came with an instruction sheet and Adventure Booklet.
