Capture of the Pygmy Gorilla
The Capture of the Pygmy Gorilla accessory set was one of the original such sets released for the GI Joe Adventure Team line in 1970, and was (and still is) a favorite of Joe enthusiasts.
The storyline for this accessory set was that the Land Adventurer went on an African safari to capture a live example of the rare, elusive pygmy gorilla, and bring it back to civilization.
This set included:
Camouflage pants;
Camouflage shirt (with AT logo)
Black boots;
Supply chest;
Flat-bottom boat;
2 pontoons for the boat;
2 struts to attach the pontoons;
Set for the boat;
Outboard motor (which ran on one C battery, not included);
Cargo net;
Hunting rifle;
Rifle-mounted camera;
Black gorilla;
Instruction sheet;
Adventure Team booklet.
