Planet of the Apes Village playset
The Village playset for Mego's Planet of the Apes line of 8" action figures was released in about 1975. Unfolded, it measures appx. 15"x15"x11-1/4".
The playset is composed of different sections, meant to represent the interiors and exteriors of an Ape compound, esp. the dwellings shown to be built on mountainsides in the TV series.
The playset comes with the following accessories:
- Lab table
- Weapons bench
- Capture net & carrying pole
- Detention pen
- 3 control sticks
- 3 rifles
Note: The POTA Village is the exact same construction as the World's Greatest Superheroes Batcave playset, only illustrated with different artwork inside and out.
The human figure on the box being captured by the Apes is actually Mego's own Action Jackson!
