Zira
Zira was a female action figure released by Mego for their Planet of the Apes line, in 1974.
Zira sports a female Mego body style, and comes wearing a brown-and-green tunic, with caramel brown boots. There are no accessories.
Zira was a very sympathetic (to humans) ape character from both the original Planet of the Apes novel and the subsequent film series. She was a psychologist who studied the primitive humans of her own time, and became fascinated with the fact that the astronaut (Taylor in the film) was actually intelligent, and could speak and write. The character also appeared in the animated TV series, Return to the Planet of the Apes.
