Miss Seventeen by Marx
Miss Seventeen was clearly the Marx company's attempt to bandwagon-jump on Barbie's success; the dolls very clearly resemble each other,
even including the eyes turned slyly to the right. Miss Seventeen came in two sizes: 14" and 18". The doll came with a robe, crown, and
cup, what with 'Miss Seventeen' being the doll's title as a result of winning a beauty pageant, rather than her name. Outfits for
the doll were sold separately.
