Comp IV
Comp IV was an early electronic game released in 1978 by Milton Bradley.
The game played with the Comp IV is simple. The device will devise a random number (either 3, 4, or 5 digits, depending on the users'
preference). Each player will then try to guess the number and input their guess. If the player has any of the digits correct, the
Comp IV will flash that number of digits. Using deduction, players can eventually guess what number the machine has chosen.
By modern standards, the Comp IV is hopelessly outdated and its game play simplistic. It only plays only one number game, and even
that is a bit dry. Nevertheless, this was one of the earliest electronic games available to the consumer, and as such Comp IV
deserves to be remembered.
