Happy Days
The Happy Days boardgame was released by Parker Brothers in 1976.
The player attempts to become designated The Coolest, keeping score of such coolness by moving a peg on a jukebox-shaped scorecard.
Player moves his token around the board to do so, making use of cash as well as Cruisin' cards and Sumthin' To Do cards. Up to four
can play.
Happy Days was a comedy TV series that ran from 1974 to 1984 on ABC. It was originally about the shenanigans of a typical
American teenager (Richie Cunningham, played by Ron Howard) in the 1950's. The show began as an episode of the romantic-comedy
anthology
Love, American Style, and begat a number of spin-offs, including
Laverne and Shirley,
Mork & Mindy,
and
Joanie Loves Chachi. Although Richie was the main protagonist, the show soon focused on the character of The Fonz,
a motorcycle-riding, leather jacket-wearing ladies' man who quickly became very popular.
