Sorry!
The game of Sorry! was originally published in America by Parker Brothers starting in 1934.
Sorry! is a fairly simple boardgame (similar to Pacheesi) in which a player tries to move his tokens from his designated starting area
around the edge of the board until he can all of them into his Home space safely. Along the way, there are color-coded tracks that
can allow a player to knock an opposing player's token off the track if it happens to be trapped there when the player lands on the
entrance to it. Movements are determined by cards rather than by dice or spinner.
The play of the game is simple (and random) enough that younger children can compete successfully with adults, while keeping the
action interesting. This has made Sorry! a favorite game of millions of Americans for generations.
