The front of the box shows the cast of the show on a frontier town street, ready for action; the reverse shows them going after a runaway steer while Hop Sing laughs in the background. The box sides are bordered in brown, with additional scenes along the band.
Note: This is one of three Bonanza lunchboxes released by Aladdin Industries. The first one was produced in 1963, and features different artwork and a green border; the final one was from 1968 and had a black border.
Bonanza was one of the most popular Western series on television. It lasted a whopping thirteen seasons on NBC.
The illustrations on this box were created by Elmer Lehnhardt.
