C-119G Flying Boxcar
Aurora's model kit for the C-119 Flying Boxcar was originally released in 1960. It was in production through 1977.
The model pieces came molded in silver and clear plastic. The cargo doors opened and closed, as did a loading ramp, and the kit
also included a jeep and cannon.
The real-world C-119 'Flying Boxcar' was a military transport plane which could ferry equipment, cargo, or personnel. It could also
be used to transport airborne troops. The plane saw service from 1947 to 1955.
