Aurora released this plastic model kit devoted to the comic book heroine Wonder Woman between 1967 and 1968.
The kit features Wonder Woman standing at the edge of the sea, having lassoed an enormous octopus. Her name appears in a nameplate
on the ground at her feet. The model was produced in tan and light brown plastic.
This kit is considered to be difficult to find and thus expensive, because it sold poorly during its initial run - girls were not
big model builders, and boys simply were not interested in female characters. Also, it was not re-released later as part of the
Comic Scenes line of the 1970's.
