Betty Hutton and Her Girls paper dolls

Betty Hutton and Her Girls This paper doll book devoted to actress Betty Hutton and her two daughters was released by Whitman (Western Publishing) in 1951.

The book features three die-cut dolls - one for Ms. Hutton and one for each of the daughters - and a whopping eight pages of cut-out clothing and accessory items for them. The back cover is a full-body photo of Betty Hutton, presumably on her patio.

The multi-talented Betty Hutton (born Elizabeth June Thornburg in 1921) had started out as a singer, trying to break into Broadway, and eventually made her way to Hollywood where she first gained attention in 1942's The Fleet's In. By the time of this book, she had become a superstar mostly thanks to her role in 1950's Annie Get Your Gun.
