This Carol Heiss paper doll book was published by Whitman (Western Publishing) in 1961.
This paper doll set features one doll of Carol along with 70 different cut-out outfits and accessories. The booklet came with handles (not shown in photo at right) so that it could be used as a carrying case for all of the pieces.
Carol Heiss was an Olympic figure skating champion. The previous year she had won a gold medal at the Olympics in a stunning victory, after years of silver medals and other accolades.
