Julie Andrews paper dolls

Julie Andrews paper dolls Saalfield released this paper doll book devoted to singer and actress Julie Andrews in 1958.

The book features four different die-cut dolls of Ms. Andrews, along with six pages of cut-out clothing and accessory items with tabs.

In 1958, Julie Andrews was not yet the beloved American film star she would become; nearly all of her most memorable film roles would come within a decade after this paper doll book was released. She had gained fame in the United States mainly due to her starring in the Broadway run of My Fair Lady, and in 1957 starred in a television broadcast version of Cinderella, which was viewed by an estimated 100 million people - many of these, no doubt, little girls who liked paper dolls.
