James Bond Cap Pistol with Silencer by Lone Star
This cap pistol was released by Lone Star in 1964. This was fairly early in the era of Bond-mania, around the time of
From Russia With Love but before
Thunderball or
Goldfinger.
The pistol doesn't quite match the types of guns Bond used in the films - the Baretta or the Walther PPK - not that it mattered to
kids whose parents must have purchased this for them.
The toy measures approximately 8" in length with silencer; silencer is detachable. It fires standard cap rolls.
