Space Patrol Rocket Gun
The Space Patrol Rocket Gun was released in 1951 by the U.S. Plastic Co. of Pasadena, California.
The toy consists of a 10" plastic red gun that fires two small darts, yellow and red. The grip sports the Space Patrol logo.
Space Patrol had begun the previous year as a local Los Angeles science-fiction TV series for children. It soon was spread around the country to various television stations as well as radio, and was the subject of a handful of comic books, records, and toys. The series lasted until February of 1955.
